TrafficForce Releases VAST In Stream Video Pre-Roll Ad Channels

LOS ANGELES — TrafficForce today announced its next step forward with VAST technology fully integrated into players and ad platforms across all niches.

This new ad solution allows marketers to reach consumers via video stream ads similar to those displayed on YouTube and other popular mainstream video platforms.

It was developed as prohibitions on popunders continue to mount and opportunities for advertisers online continue to evolve.

“This new class of ads is ‘skippable’ so publishers are not hindering user experience to any great degree, and each publisher can directly control the duration of the ‘skip this ad button’ to make things even easier,” TrafficForce.com’s Ross said. “The ads work well with all major video players and there is no customization necessary.

“Many popular video formats are supported as well, and the entire integration is designed to be easy to roll out on any website with a very minimal impact on user metrics.”

In testing during the soft launch, advertisers are seeing noticeably better click-through rations and some properly optimized ads can achieve a much improved CTR while also raising the user metrics for time on site and bounce rates because great ads are also good content, Ross said.

“On the advertiser side of the equation, marketers can now create an even more compelling ad using perfectly targeted video to sell product to consumers in their primary field of view, as an intrinsic part of the site content,” Ross said. This is proving to be far more effective than traditional digital banner ads and other media that may or may not be looked at in the normal course of a user’s consumption.”

Ross said that TrafficForce believes that as companies like Google continue to narrow the definition of an acceptable advertisement, popup blockers become ubiquitous on browsers and devices and users themselves are increasingly able to overlook stale ad formats, being part of the next generation of ads embedded directly in the player space itself is an enormous advantage for forward-thinking marketers and publishers.
