MysteryVibe Taking Pre-orders for Men's Wearable Vibrator

LONDON — MysteryVibe, which markets the Crescendo smart vibrator, announced today the release of its second product — the Tenuto, a wearable vibrator for men.

Tenuto is a customizable, smart vibrator worn around the base of a penis and perineum for a longer, harder and more intense sexual experience, according to Stephanie Alys, co-founder of MysteryVibe.

“Vibration technology has the power to intensify pleasure and stimulate blood flow for both partners, but is barely used in male pleasure products,” Alys said.

“We wanted to build a product that would add power to the man, while simultaneously helping a woman to orgasm. Tenuto gives couples the ability to experience the future of sex.”

The small, lightweight, wearable Tenuto uses six separate vibrating motors that can be controlled either on the device or by app.

Vibrating motors around the shaft of the penis help to stimulate blood flow while separate motors along the base and the perineum help create more potent orgasms.

When worn during penetration, the different motors stimulate not only the visible glans of clitoris and hood, but also the internal clitoral organ, as well as labia and vulva.

Development of Tenuto took nearly two years, during which MysteryVibe partnered with world-renowned designers Seymourpowell, the team behind Durex toys, to help create Tenuto, Alys said.

She noted the goal was find a product that would increase arousal by stimulating nerve endings across the male genitals, increase performance by maintaining blood flow and increase intimacy by stimulating their partner.

For the solution, the team drew inspiration everywhere from the high-tech robotics industry to sleek design of Apple, she said.

“As soon as we launched the Crescendo, we began hearing from men in relationships who were looking for a method to extend pleasure in a wearable device,” said Soum Rakshit, CEO and co-founder of MysteryVibe.

“With Crescendo, many men reported that the vibration not only gave them more potent erections, as well as a different type of orgasm. Just as with Crescendo, there’s nothing like it. We believe this is a category-creator.”

Pre-orders for Tenuto begin today. Sales information for Tenuto, including a video, can be found here.
