Raging Stallion Signs Exclusive Distro Deal With NakedSword

SAN FRANCISCO — Gay adult studio Raging Stallion has signed an exclusive distribution deal with gay video-on-demand site NakedSword, which will have access to the studio's entire library and all new releases.

"We've known the guys at Raging Stallion for a long time," NakedSword Director of Marketing Michael Stabile told XBIZ. "And their content has always performed well for us."

Stabile said Raging Stallion wasn't happy with its previous VOD provider and was looking for a way to work more closely with NakedSword.

"They felt we understood their content," Stabile said.

Raging Stallion President Chris Ward said he's very excited about the partnership, which couldn't have happened at a better time.

"We're having a banner year," Ward said. "DVD sales are growing strongly, and this new deal will allow our entire online reach to expand significantly. [NakedSword President] Tim Valenti and his whole team are great to work with."

The two companies' relationship started several years ago, he said, when NakedSword shot some behind-the-scenes footage on several Raging Stallion sets and used it to promote its titles on the VOD site's network, as well as on affiliate sites.

"They've always been open to more creative types of promotion," Stabile said, "and they're good guys."

In addition to distributing Raging Stallion's library, Stabile said NakedSword will work closely with the studio to develop original productions and innovative affiliate offerings, using NakedSword's NakedDollars affiliate program to spread the word.
