LOS ANGELES — Released today on sex-positive podcast, “Sluts & Scholars,” co-hosts Nicoletta and Simone interview humorist and adult star, Jupiter’s Slut.
The episode is now available for download at iTunes and Spotify. Nicoletta and Simone also host a weekly live show every Thursday on Sirius XM Channel 415 from 2-3 p.m. (PST).
“Jupiter's Slut is an out of this world sex educator and performer,” Nicoletta said. “Her journey from repressed to empowered sexuality is truly inspiriting and is a beacon of hope that it is never too late to start your sexual journey.”
In the latest episode, “Jupiter’s Slut, or The Accidental Porn Star,” Jupiter shares how she left her life as a math teacher and homemaker to embark on a personal masturbation journey. She joins Nicoletta and Simone to talk about wholesome sluttery, how she let go of her sexual repression through fingerpainting and kink poetry and how her sexuality was used against her in her divorce. As a bonus, Simone explains just how to use a faucet or showerhead for masturbation.
“The Sluts & Scholars podcast turns the old stereotypes on their heads,” Jupiter added. “These women are intellectual, full of conviction and so funny. I'm proud to be a guest on their show. Women have been shamed for their sexuality, whenever that sexuality doesn't suit a patriarchal agenda. Talking with women who express and educate themselves as they do is exciting and inspiring.
“They asked for my personal definition of slut, that was my favorite question,” Jupiter continued. “Personally, I accept all definitions, but the one I live by is that to be a slut is to live according to your own ‘Shameless Luminous Untamed Truth.’ These women dig deep, and they aren’t afraid to ask any questions. As a former math teacher, a lifelong lover of education, and a shameless slut, I was doing a most joyous happy dance when invited to be a guest on ‘Sluts & Scholars.’”
Jupiter continued, “We talked about how I came to write a book on masturbation, my sexual suppression growing up and the shame the resurfaced around my divorce. I was fine being used sexually, but seeking my own physical pleasure made me feel like a bad selfish person. We talked about the research experience filming myself weekly for a year, and about writing the book. They shared some tips and tricks for bathtub masturbation, which I have yet to master. As a math teacher, I saw sexual shaming used against my female students in the most outrageous ways. We need more women in the world talking about their sexuality with pride and passion; we need to reclaim the word slut. This podcast is really doing that."
Jupiter is in the process of publishing her humor memoir, “Masturbation Monday,” to be released this summer. You can find out more about Jupiter at JupitersSlut.com.
