Smash Pictures Launches New Wall Displays

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — In an effort to better effectively brand its company in retail stores, Smash Pictures has developed (working with U.K. adult retail chain Nice N Naughty), a three-sided wall display designed for maximum store exposure.

Nice N Naughty has released the imposing displays to all 11 of its retail stores across Europe, and U.S. stores wishing to order them can do so by contacting Nice N Naughty. Additionally, Smash Pictures’ parent company, which owns the Penthouse and Luv Boutique adult retail chains, are adding the banners that measure 8 feet by 8 feet, to all its retail locations.

“We are delighted to be working with Stuart at Smash Pictures who I consider a genuine friend and honourable guy,” Nice N Naughty Director Simon Prescott told XBIZ. “Smash has always been very supportive by supplying images and helping to design the displays, providing shelf talkers and plenty of after sales support to really help grow the Smash Pictures brand in the U.K. Smash has been very well received over here and I look forward to a long business relationship.”

Smash Pictures is only one of three U.S. production companies stocked by Nice N Naughty because obtaining an R18 classification for adult movies is very hard, said Smash Pictures Vice President Stuart Wall.

“These displays have a comfort level that makes females feel OK shopping for porn too,” Wall told XBIZ. “This wall display features soft images from our best-selling series ‘Cheating Housewives.’ The displays look great and will definitely entice customers into considering Smash when shopping for the latest adult DVDs. I encourage all U.S.-based retails stores to contact Simon at Nice N Naughty for their own displays, which I think will lead to increased sales.”

Nice N Naughty has been nominated in multiple categories in the prestigious ETO awards taking place in Birmingham, England on July 22. The company has been nominated as the Best Online Retailer, Best Retailer, Best R18 Distributor and Best British Film Brand. Smash Pictures received a nomination for its “Cheating Housewives” series. Vouyer Media, Wicked Pictures and Smash Pictures will be heading to the U.K. to support Nice N Naughty at the show.
