Manville Entertainment Launches Gay Classics Division

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Manville Entertainment today unveiled its new division — Manville Classics — that will offer an array of vintage gay movies.

The studio best known for all-male XXX parody releases has reached into the vaults for gay blue film footage previously unreleased on DVD and will offer a steady stream of new titles coming out weekly under the Manville Classics imprint.

Manville Classics will launch with its first release, "Classic Loops: Gay XXX from the Past" on Tuesday, Aug. 7.

Manville Classics also will release “Retro Interracial Relations," “All Dark Meat of Yesteryear," “Retro Trios” and “Classic Loops: Gay XXX from the Past.”

“I was ecstatic to have found a treasure-trove of retro films in the vaults of our brother studios,” said Austin, executive producer for Manville Entertainment.

“This is gay porn from a time where the content was often produced and released underground. The sex is raw, the men natural and masculine.”

Beyond being a time-capsule of gay porn in its infancy, Austin said, the movies are a reflection of an era of unapologetic sexual expression.

The footage was pulled from film stock and beta masters, Austin said.

“Due to the age of these masters, minimal modern technology has been applied to contrast, stabilization and sound," Austin said. “I did not want to lose the essence of what these movies reflect — straightforward man-on-man sex from a bygone era.”

Manville Entertainment additionally said that GayHotMovies.com will have exclusive, pre-release video-on-demand rights for the month of July for Manville Classic’s inaugural titles.

Manville Entertainment is distributed by Pulse Distribution, whose top sales exec, Hyland C., said that “customers love the classics.”

“We are very excited to bring this retro gay content to our ever-expanding library,” Hyland C. said.
