CYBERSPACE — Goliath Books is touting the release of “Marquis De Sade — 100 Erotic Illustrations.”
The Marquis De Sade has “shocked for generations, was sentenced to death [and] his books were censored,” a rep said. “Artists, authors and psychologists have dealt with his work. De Sade became the symbol of the forbidden worldwide — perversion personified.”
The new hardcover tome “presents a unique, text-free collection of erotic illustrations of De Sade’s work.”
Goliath invites current-day consumers to compare their modern sensibilities against De Sade’s work, which have been “forbidden, burnt, banned and censored.”
