VCX functioned as the event’s sponsor, which took place May 18 in the Las Vegas area. The Sin City Chamber of Commerce has announced that the fundraising efforts have been completed, with VCX leading the way.
Sutton and VCX contributed $2,300 to the Corps of Compassion.
“I was really anxious getting on the plane, let me tell you,” Sutton told XBIZ. “It was my first time skydiving, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat for charity.”
In its newsletter, SCCC Executive Vice President Michael Russell said, “Thanks to adult entertainer Goldie Sparxxx for participating in the skydive and to all of the skydivers who faced their fears and helped us make an impact for the Corps of Compassion. Special recognition is due to president of VCX.com, David Sutton. David was our leading fundraiser and was in the first airplane full of skydivers. His bravery and generosity is greatly appreciated.”
“David is one of the reasons the Chamber is a wonderful place to do business,” SCCC Director of Corporate Giving Erika Napoletano said. “David and the rest of the SCCC skydivers did a wonderful thing by contributing their time and risking their lives for the Corps of Compassion.”
Sutton is an active member of the SCCC and said that he participates in about four charity events per year with the organization.
“We are very proud to be a part of the SCCC and to have taken part in this truly amazing event for such a wonderful cause,” Sutton said. “It was a thrilling day and it is even more thrilling to know that the Corps of Compassion will benefit. We look forward to working with the SCCC on future events to positively affect the Las Vegas Community.”
