NEW YORK — Sex therapist, author and sex educator Gwen Butler will be showcasing her most recent book, “Indulge: 25 Indulgences to Unlock Your Sensual Self, Explore Your Erotic Nature,” at Sex Expo NY.
Presented by premier cam network Chaturbate, the two-day event is set for the weekend of Sept. 22-23 at the Brooklyn Expo Center. Sex Expo will feature showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers and sex-ed workshops hosted by a wide range of educators and sexual wellness experts.
“It is an honor to be participating in Sex Expo,” said Butler, who has a private practice on Long Island, NY. “I attended last year as a guest; so, I know first-hand what a privilege it is to stand with so many other powerful and well-informed, sex-positive humans in my community.”
In her Sex Expo New York booth, Butler will be selling copies of her book as well as “Indulge” T-shirts.
“This year, I bring my book, ‘Indulge: 25 Indulgences to Unlock Your Sensual Self, Explore Your Erotic Nature,’ which I wrote as an invitation to the many female bodies who have yet to acquaint themselves with the power of their bodies, their sexuality, and their orgasms. ‘Indulge’ provides education and instruction on self-pleasing and self-love for the female body.”
Butler added, “I will also be making ‘Indulge’ t-shirts available for purchase. In addition to the merchandise, I will be offering a booth for therapy — five minutes of counsel to whoever might be interested. It is going to be great, and I look forward to getting to know many people and sharing a lot of myself.”
Butler said she is glad to see Sex Expo New York being held in the Brooklyn Expo Center once again.
“The Brooklyn location suits Sex Expo in that the location is as diverse as the sex-positive community — and in all ways, eclectic,” Butler said. “I am humbled and honored to be a part of such an amazing experience.”

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station, which is served by the G Train.
