NEW YORK — The Deviate Network today announced its newest venture, the Alternative Lifestyle Alliance, which hopes to focus on addressing the many issues surrounding FOSTA and similar laws that unfairly target sex workers.
“As veterans of the alternative lifestyle community, the Deviate Network seeks to bridge the gap and stand united against damaging laws seeking to divide the adult industry,” said the network’s founders, who are alternative lifestyle educators and the producers of the DV8 Dare Erotic Lifestyle Games product line.
“Currently in the eyes of the law, there is no separation between sex traffickers/prostitution and the consensual activities of adults in alternative lifestyles,” its founders said. "We hated to see the adult industry and alternative lifestyles associated with laws such as FOSTA."
The group said that it is currently in a “pre-launch stage pending donations from the alternative lifestyle community and its businesses."
Once its site is up and running, members will have access to a network of alternative lifestyle-friendly clubs and businesses, its founders said.
“With your help we can achieve our goal,” they said.
