BLACKWOOD, N.J. — Fantasy Gifts NJ has partnered with the Stockton University’s Pride Alliance for the second time for Drag Queen Bingo to benefit The Trevor Project.
Pride Alliance, the student run LGBTQ club on campus, held an inclusive event to bring attention to sexual health and wellness through an educational platform and social awareness with the drag queen edition of Sex Toy Bingo on Wednesday. The event included traditional bingo with prizes provided by Fantasy Gifts NJ through the generous support of many of the top vendors in the adult industry.
Adult performers Rhedd Rhumm, Shanae Morgan and Jenna Tall called the bingo and kept the crowd entertained throughout the event.
“We had a great time at Stockton University last night,” said Dee Bertino, owner of Fantasy Gifts NJ. “This is only the second year the Pride Alliance has held this event and they already doubled their attendance. And the drag queens were fabulous.”
Besides the effort to engage all students in a fun on campus event, the organization set out to raise money for The Trevor Project, a national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and LGBTQ young people under 25.
Pride Alliance at Stockton University and Fantasy Gifts NJ gave out over $1,000 worth of prizes with a special focus on gender neutral toys that would appeal to a transgender attendee.
Every attendee received a goodie bag that included a safe sex kit with a condom, lubricant and carrying case courtesy of Sportsheets. Other contributing adult companies for giveaways included Pipedream Products, Wet, Wicked Sensual Care, XGen, Williams Trading Co., Classic Erotica, Wicked Sensual Care, Screaming O, Evolved Novelties, System JO and CalExotics.
Meghan Casper, vice president of the Stockton University Pride Alliance, said, “this is our biggest crowd yet for this event. Every year we receive nothing but positive support and excitement for the next event!”
Pride Alliance partnered with Active Minds, a student run club focusing on mental health awareness, education and advocacy on issues that affect college students and the Students Veteran’s Organization, a club dedicated to veterans, veterans’ families or anyone who cares about veterans.
“We could not do this event without the help of our amazing vendors and distributors,” Bertino said. “We are always so grateful for their overwhelming generosity. The mission statement of the Trevor Project touches all of us in the adult industry. When we put out the call for donations, so many companies were more than happy to respond.”
