Nominees Unveiled for 2019 Transgender Erotica Awards

LOS ANGELES — The complete list of 2019 Transgender Erotica Awards (TEAs) nominees has been unveiled.

“Despite the Transgender Erotica Awards being as the name infers, an awards show, its main agenda has always been as a celebration of the adult trans industry and to draw a focus on our part of the industry and to honor the fabulous individuals who work in it,” said show producer Steven Grooby.

“We have a three-day event, so that performers, industry and fans who travel from across the world can enjoy an unparalleled experience of networking and entertainment. As seriously as we take the nomination and the judging, we aren’t exclusively about that and all should feel welcome and included.”

Several tweaks have been made to this year’s categories, a rep notes, including the addition of the Best Self-Producer category and splitting Best Scene into Best Scene Boy/Girl and Best Scene Girl/Girl.

“All those nominated should be very proud — nearly all categories had dozens, if not hundreds, of nominees,” Grooby said. “In any sort of nomination or award shows, there are always going to be complaints or opinions on why someone isn’t included and I can only answer that we do our best to look at all suggestions, no matter if it comes from large companies, or individuals, to get a fair temperature of who should be on those nomination lists.”

Among the nominees, the Ms. Unique category includes Demii D Best, Betty Black, Jacquie Blu, Alyssa Etain, Kira Krash, River Enza, Kimber Haven, Jean Jezebel, Kristen Kraves, Sophie Ladder, Nadia Love, Raven Roxx, Sofia Sanders, Shemeatress, Kacy TGirl, Alina Wang and Brooke Zanell.

The Best Hardcore Model nominees are Aspen Brooks, Kira Crash, Korra Del Rio, River Enza, Janelle Fennec, Aubrey Kate, Khloe Kay, Lena Kelly, Casey Kisses, Lianna Lawson, Chelsea Marie, Natalie Mars, Ryder Monroe, Domino Presley, and Chanel Santini.

The TEAs and related events will be held March 15-17 at the Avalon Hollywood venue, as well as Bardot nightclub, located within Avalon Hollywood. The show schedule includes a pre-party March 15 at the Bardot and a daytime fan convention on March 16, followed by the awards ceremony on March 17 at the Avalon Hollywood, hosted by Domino Presley.
