CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Pure Taboo and Pulse Distribution are touting the wholesale/retail release of “Detour” featuring cover starlet Kenzie Reeves.
The film is “a double-dose of erotic thrillers, exposing the risk pretty girls take every time they enter a stranger’s car, delivered by writer/producer Bree Mills and director/producer Craven Moorehead,” a rep said.
Reeves toplines “Detour” with Carmen Caliente and Alex Legend; Aubrey Sinclair and Brad Knight anchor “Driver’s Education.”
In “Detour,” Reeves and Caliente “get into a rideshare, talking excitedly about going on a backpacking trip to Europe after graduation. Now that they’re 18, they’re excited to take on the world and everything it has to bring them,” notes the promotional text. “After asking the driver as to why they aren’t on route to their scheduled destination, their driver (Legend) explains he has to make a pit stop at his house, and that he might have something the girls might find of interest when he gets there…”
Meanwhile, “Driver’s Education” follows “beautiful yet naive Stacey (Sinclair), who gets into the car of her driving instructor (Knight), or at least she thinks he’s her instructor…”
Mills praised the commitment of her cast. "This was such an emotional and intense pair of episodes to direct,” she said. “Kenzie was extraordinary in her vulnerability, proving once again the talent she has as a serious actress. She was supported by fantastic performances by the rest of the cast."
“Pure Taboo’s releases are what defines the new generation of porn production,” said Pulse VP of sales Hyland C. “With top-notch star talent, shot beautifully, with a solid, twisted storyline, often with deep psychological undertones, Mills and Moorehead prove why they’ve earned the industry’s respect and accolades. Retailers, make sure you stock this title right away.”
