LAS VEGAS — The Erotic Heritage Museum (EHM) is touting the return of “The Art of Naked Yoga” to its regular offerings.
The “popular weekly class, led by instructor Miss Monika, allows yogis a place to practice in a peaceful, clothing-optional setting, in a private area located inside the EHM,” a rep said.
“Miss Monika has over 800 hours of formal yoga instructor training, and over 1000 teaching hours under her belt from her time in Vancouver, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Integrative Sciences, an approach that combines the understandings of different scientific disciplines, with an emphasis on human physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, biochemistry and evolutionary biology.”
Dr. Victoria Hartmann, the museum's executive director, expressed excitement about the return of the class. "The EHM is a body-positive space that has offered ‘The Art of Naked Yoga’ to guests for several years,” she said. “Being comfortable in your own skin is paramount to a happy life. We are excited to have Miss Monika take the helm of this class; she brings a wealth of experience."
Monika, the rep notes, focuses on “vinyasa flow, hatha, ashtanga, yin and restorative yoga, and tailors her classes to the needs and abilities of each student and class. She is also certified in First Aid/CPR, trauma-recovery yoga and mat pilates,” among other disciplines.
“Through yoga postures and movement, I invite students to explore their bodies and minds with curiosity and joy,” Monika said. “By balancing strength with flexibility, and paying attention to their sensations, I guide students into an inner sanctuary of calm and clarity."
