Adult-Friendly PVR Iris VR Headset Now Shipping at $199

LOS ANGELES — PVR Iris, a lightweight virtual reality headset made for watching adult films, is now available for shipping at a limited-time-only price of $199.

The stand-alone VR device, created with the idea of syncing the headset with the company’s PVR.fun website, offers adult fans thousands of hardcore VR videos-on-demand.

As a bonus, PVR Iris buyers can enjoy a free VR video every week for a year with purchase of the headset.

“While a VR headset has been a favorite holiday shopping gift for a couple of years now, the PVR Iris is unique in that it’s the first of its kind to optimize the viewing experience exclusively for adult video,” said adult star Ela Darling, who serves as the company’s CMO.

The PVR Iris is featherlight in weight and offers more than one-and-a-half times higher resolution compared to other brands, said Darling, also noting that the headset has a long-lasting battery life — three hours — without the assistance of an app or a smartphone.

The device also offers a smooth, streamlined video decoding capability, using less bandwidth than other VR devices, and a Fresnel optical system to keep viewers immersed in a virtual world without becoming dizzy or disoriented, she said.

“The PVR Iris is the next step in virtual reality, utilizing blockchain technology to search for content more quickly with total security and anonymity, while providing a huge content library from the adult industry’s most popular studios,” she said.

PVR Iris currently offers content from many studios include HoloGirls VR, Badoink VR, VR3000, 18VR and VRCosplayX, with more studios to come on board.
