LOS ANGELES — Strike 3 Holdings, which is led by producer/director Greg Lansky, announced today the acquisition of a majority stake in Kayden Kross’ specialty boutique studio and content site, TrenchcoatX.com, and all of its affiliated websites.
In a joint announcement, the companies said the new agreement unites the “formidable award-winning talents of two of the most influential superstars of the adult industry, who share similar visual and technical aesthetics behind the camera.” Terms of the deal were not revealed.
Strike 3 operates the Vixen, Tushy, Blacked and Blacked Raw brands.
“TrenchcoatX began as a small project funded by money generated from Fleshlight sales as performers and was further funded by the first subscribers on a platform that mainly offered licensed content,” Kross said.
“Eventually, loyal fans generated enough income to allow me to move to a full-time production schedule, and that first year of critical recognition from reviewers and awards shows is what got the attention of Greg Lansky and his partners.
“This past year has been a whirlwind as the studio has grown and matured into what it is today. The mentorship and opportunities that Greg Lansky has provided me with the work I did for his brands has allowed me to sharpen my work on TrenchcoatX, and there’s not a more fitting evolution of my brand than this partnership nor is there a higher aspiration within an industry than to take a fledgling idea and grow it into a property that is of interest to the most exclusive powerhouse in the game.
Launched in 2015 with the tagline “Curated Smut,” Kross’ signature studio presents a “sex-positive take on adult filmmaking in beautifully shot, luxurious surroundings, uniquely capturing the star’s carnal point of view.”
“With this new partnership, what you've seen from TrenchcoatX is only the beginning,” Kross said.
