LOS ANGELES — RopeFlix and Japanese Bound have announced a new partnership with CineMagic, one of the oldest and largest rope video production companies in Japan.
According to the company, CineMagic has agreed to open its archives to provide the sites with original videos from many of the top rope artists of the past 40 years.
“These videos offer a view into the history and culture of erotic rope bondage as it has evolved over time,” says a company spokesperson. “Many of these videos were originally produced for the VHS home market and have never been released in digital form.”
New content from CineMagic will be released on RopeFlix and Japanese Bound on a weekly basis beginning this month.
The new content includes rope performances, kinbaku sessions, and instructional content from legendary rope artists who were a vital part of the Japanese rope world in the 1980s and 1990s, but who are largely unknown in the West. The videos focus on the legends of kinbaku, including Nureki Chimuo, Akechi Denki, Yukimura Haruki, and Chiba Eizou.
“Founded in 1983, CineMagic has long been known for its quality and high production values,” the spokesperson adds. “The company has produced thousands of videos over the years, growing to become synonymous with Japanese bondage. We are proud to offer this rare vintage footage to our members on RopeFlix.com and on JapaneseBound.com. This is an exclusive opportunity to learn from the masters and enjoy movies that would have never been seen in the West otherwise.”
