LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Violet Rain, 19, has passed away this morning in Los Angeles, 11 days after she was taken unconscious to a Boyle Heights hospital, according to her agent, Dave Rock from Motley Models.
“We are deeply saddened by Violet Rain’s passing," Rock told XBIZ. "We will miss her sweet demeanor and amazing smile. Please keep her friends and family in your thoughts and they go through this tremendous loss of an amazing young woman. “
Rain started performing in the adult industry last July, after arriving from Arizona shortly after her 18th birthday. The brunette starlet had performed scenes for Team Skeet, AMKingdom, Cherry Pimps, Digital Playground, Nubile, Wankz and other companies.
As XBIZ previously reported, the industry became aware last Friday that Rain had apparently been “dropped off” (according to accounts) at the Boyle Height hospital on the early morning of Monday, March 4.
According to those sources, Rain had overdosed sometime between the night of Sunday, March 3 and the time she arrived at the hospital.
Her agent told XBIZ last Friday that “it was communicated to us by a friend of Violet Rain’s that she was admitted to the hospital Monday morning in critical condition. The alleged reason for the admittance was due to a drug overdose."
"The friend continued to report to us as she remained in ICU until Wednesday when her family had flown in from Arizona to be by her side, as she still had not regained consciousness," Rock told XBIZ. "Our source was at the hospital as of late Thursday night and Violet remained on life support. According to our source, she remains in critical condition as her family surrounds her.”
XBIZ contacted the Boyle Heights hospital but we were told that HIPAA liability prevented them from giving us updates on her health situation. At the same time, we learned that an LAPD investigation had been launched about the circumstances surrounding her overdose.
Earlier this week we received unverified information from a reliable source close to the investigation that accounts had placed Violet at the Hollywood celebrity nightclub Nightingale Plaza until closing time on Sunday night, and after that at a private party at a home in the Pasadena Hills.
A representative for LAPD told us then “We can’t comment on an ongoing investigation but if anyone knows anything about [Violet’s] whereabouts on the evening of [Sunday, March] 3 or the early morning of [March] 4, please email 27325@lapd.online."
XBIZ will continue posting updates as more information becomes available.
