HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — After nearly 30 years with the company, Kimberly Harding is leaving her post as Sportsheets' sales manager.
“It is with equal parts of excitement and sadness, I’m writing to say that, after nearly 30 years of working at Sportsheets with Tom and Julie, it is time to say goodbye,” she said in a message to clients and colleagues. “I am retiring from the sales manager position effective April 30. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and cherish the relationships I have built with all of you!”
Harding says that her time now will be spent on the non-profit Carl Stewart’s Drums for Drummers, that she started with husband/Sportsheets founder Tom Stewart five years ago.
“With the word spreading among the school music teachers that we have drum kits to give, it’s growing by leaps and bounds and needs much more attention,” she said. “The drum sets come from individuals that have generously donated to our organization.”
Harding, a professional pilot for more than 15 years, previously served as a project manager for Sportsheets, and played a continual role in the business since its inception.
Moving forward, Sportsheets President Julie Stewart will be managing the sales team.
