Dr. Victoria Hartmann's 'Baking Naked' Show Suspended by YouTube

LAS VEGAS — Dr. Victoria Hartmann, sexologist and director of the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas, alleges her YouTube show was banned by the platform.

The show, “Baking Naked,” co-hosted by Joshua Corum, typically features Hartmann and a colleague “talking about the latest in sex research while baking,” a rep said. An unclothed assistant — genitals and other parts “judiciously pixelated” — would typically lend a helping hand.

Hartmann endeavored to keep “sensitive content” off the channel; nevertheless, “she found ‘Baking Naked’ taken from YouTube at the beginning of this month. When Hartmann then took to vlogging, about scientifically researched subjects ranging from the myth of porn addiction to gender dysphoria, she found this content also removed.”

She has since opened BakingNakedShow.com to feature recent episodes. Hartmann is also in talks with Pornhub to host the show.

"When we stifle science and researchers who study sexuality, the slide into censorship will only pick up speed. Where does it end,” she said. "I was raised in Germany. It's not unheard-of to jail people who are Holocaust deniers, and I think it's justified given the crimes committed by the Nazi regime. Sometimes speech is uncomfortable, but I fail to see how one can equate sex research in the same category as hoaxes and conspiracy theorists."
