Rock Candy, Sportsheets Join Forces for #SugarSheets Promo

LOS ANGELES — Pleasure products manufacturers Rock Candy Toys and Sportsheets have teamed up to host #SugarSheets, a consumer-driven Instagram contest in honor of National Candy Month this June.

Officially launching on June 3, followers 18 years and older are instructed to comment on the Rock Candy Toys and Sportsheets Instagram accounts, naming their favorite candy and tagging a friend for the chance to win.

The winner will be selected randomly on June 10 and will walk away with a sweet treat-inspired gift box from Rock Candy and various items from Sportsheets' Sex & Mischief line.

According to a rep, both companies took an intentional approach to the gender-friendly product curation, with a primary goal being to educate consumers on different ways to introduce light bondage play into their pleasure repertoire.

"A large number of pleasure products consumers perceive BDSM as an intimidating niche to dabble in," said Casey Murphy, Rock Candy Toys product educator. "We are so excited to collaborate with Sportsheets for the #SugarSheets marketing campaign, and love the way it centers it around such a positive message for consumers. This partnership has reminded us that at the end of the day, our industry colleagues are all working for the same cause. We look forward to creating an exciting, beneficial experience for consumers, as well as additional co-branded marketing campaigns with Sportsheets in the near future."

Similarly, Sportsheets' Marketing Director John Turi echoed that the collaboration with Rock Candy was befitting. "We love working with other brands who also share the same passion to educate and give back to our consumers," he explained. "We knew that mixing Rock Candy’s bright visuals and fun products, with our naughty S&M line was a perfect fit."

To enter the contest, follow Sportsheets and Rock Candy on Instagram.
