LOS ANGELES — AltErotic has joined forces with Stunner Media, signing worldwide DVD and broadcast content distribution deal with the Montreal-based company.
According to reps, the strategic partnership will help bring the alt-porn brand’s content to masses while expanding and strengthening Stunner’s ever-growing catalog of niche and top shelf offerings.
“I’m so freaking pumped to be partnering with Stunner Media on a DVD and content distribution deal,” said Ivan, AltErotic's recently appointed creative director and cinematographer. “It’s such a natural fit with the structure of AltErotic’s content channels and it allows me to bring my creative side to the table for one-off and crazy DVD series.”
Since the relaunch and rebrand of AltErotic in late 2018, the site has seen "explosive and viral growth," reportedly garnering tens of millions of views. Reps say that the partnership with Stunner Media was an obvious next step.
“Stunner has been a mainstay in this industry for years, signing with them to distribute our content both digitally and in DVD format was an easy decision,” said AltErotic owner Sascha. “We’ve been building our content library over the past two years and we have so much in the pipeline, we needed someone with Stunner’s expertise to really maximize our exposure. We can’t wait for the world to see what we’ve been working on!”
As of now, AltErotic is planning to release two DVD titles per month. Upcoming releases are slated to include “My Tattoo Girls” and “Inked Up Sex,” named after the signature channels on AltErotic.com.
For their part, Stunner Media's head of licensing, Nicolas Fournier, says that AltErotic's content will fill a current dearth in their catalog. “We love what Sacha and AltErotic have been doing. The alt and tattooed model niche has been underserved for years and both fans and our retail partners have been begging for more of it.”
"When they approached us, we couldn’t wait for the ink to dry and get this show on the road,” he concluded.
