LOS ANGELES — Twenty years ago, two people who barely knew each other created an amateur porn website. One was 33 years old and had big natural breasts with zero modeling experience; the other was only 22 years old and had zero experience designing websites — but for some crazy reason, they thought they could start an internet porn business.
That was in 1999, and by 2000, Ryan had taught himself computer programming and designed a website for his future wife, Kelly. The pair started KellyMadison.com with no money and no experience but with a lot of dreams for their future. This was during the heyday of amateur sites when entire conventions and parties revolved around amateurs networking, trading content and helping each other out.
“We had ‘Friends Pages’ where we traded traffic and gave each other advice on where to host and what billing companies to use,” Ryan Madison revealed. “It wasn’t as corporate as it is now — everyone had their own little company doing their own thing but we all linked to each other and traded traffic like kids in a schoolyard trading their lunches, all trying to get the traffic that converted best for them.”
Luckily for Kelly and Ryan, people joined their solo site and things grew from there. Kelly went from solo photoshoots to doing G/G photos and a few videos, and then on to doing B/G videos with Ryan. Soon the married couple began having threesomes with some of the biggest names in the business, propelling them into creating PornFidelity.com and then its sister site, TeenFidelity.com.
The company focused on breakthrough work in 4K and cinematic porn, working with top directors and earning accolades from XBIZ. Now in 2019, Kelly and Ryan have hit their 20-year mark and they continue to run their sites themselves, handling everything from programming to customer service and DVD cover design under one roof to ensure quality control and brand identity.
“If you love what you do, then it doesn’t feel like work,” Kelly Madison said. “Even though I am no longer in front of the camera, I absolutely love working with talent, helping with hair and makeup and doing costume and set design. I thoroughly enjoy helping in every way I can to make sure our award-winning directors and all the other wonderful people that work with us are supported and fully appreciated.”
The couple recently launched 5KPorn.com, offering a unique visual experience at 60 frames per second. Soon they will launch 5KTeens.com. To date, the “mom and pop” shop runs four sites, two affiliate programs — KellyCash.com and 5KBucks.com — and has shot over 1,200 models, producing over 500 DVDs, while looking forward to another 20 prosperous years in a business that allowed their dreams to come true.
