LOS ANGELES — Adult industry veteran and sex educator Anne Hodder-Shipp will host a live-training webinar on building more effective customer communication skills on Friday, August 30 at 11 a.m. (PDT).
Sponsored by Hodder-Shipp's educational platform Everyone Deserves Sex Ed (EDSE), "Compassionate Customer Service" combines "social psychology research with tangible communication tools and a five-step process for answering customer questions," said Hodder-Shipp.
The webinar is geared towards adult industry customer service reps, store managers and retail staff with the goal being to develop a stronger understanding of how compassion and empathy can impact the retail environment.
“Stellar customer service is key for forming lasting, loyal relationships with adult retail shoppers, and that includes responding to customers in a compassionate manner,” Hodder-Shipp said. “'Compassionate Customer Service' will teach adult industry professionals effective ways to communicate with people who might not know what they’re looking for or might seek more than just a product recommendation.”
