SAN FRANCISCO — Kink.com has announced the release of BDSM director The Pope’s nearly two-hour sex-horror feature "Derelict" starring Charlotte Sartre and Casey Calvert.
The story follows Sartre and Calvert as they are stalked and tormented in a dilapidated desert ghost town.
“As always, we’re stunned by The Pope’s ability to mix the erotic with terror,” said Matt Slusarenko, VP of Kink.com. “While we know that a film this psychologically intense isn’t for everyone, this is a singular achievement. We haven’t seen a film this disturbing since 'Deception' — and truthfully, many of us are still recovering from that.”
"Deception" debuted on Kink.com in 2015 and quickly proved to be one of the most controversial films in the site’s history, with fans both drawn and repelled by the film’s graphic sex and horror.
“A screening of 'Deception' in the old Kink.com Armory, became a legend among the staff — some were unable to stay for the entire film,” said the rep.
“Sex, power and fear are our most primal reactions,” Kink.com’s Head of Content Mike Scott added. “We wanted to bring the audience to a base state, one that breaks through our digital, self-aware, intellectual existence. 'Derelict' is one of The Pope’s greatest accomplishments as a director. I look forward to hearing the reaction, in and out of the industry.”
"Derelict" debuts tomorrow on Kink.com.
