Whitney Wright Makes Feature Director Debut for MissaX

CYBERSPACE — Missa X is tub-thumping the premiere of “Adelaide,” the feature-directing debut of Whitney Wright for MissaX.com.

The first two episodes debuted today with Gianna Dior in the title role as a mysterious woman who tangles with her new psychiatrist, Dr. Roman (Codey Steele) and his sweet-natured wife, Holly (Khloe Kapri).

“Adelaide has a cold, sharp, cool demeanor, and it's difficult for even a talented psychiatrist like Dr. Roman to figure her out,” a rep said. “The audience soon learns that Adelaide's true passion is deception and manipulation. She sees herself as the puppeteer and seduces the people around her into acting as her puppets.”

Wright originally conceived “Adelaide” as a short film, but Missa X and her team were so intrigued by the character that Wright was asked to expand the story to a feature. The producer enthused about Wright’s transition from performing to sitting in the director’s chair.

"'Adelaide' is the fifth project written and directed by Whitney for our sites; there are another five in the works, including a feature for AllHerLuv.com," Missa X told XBIZ. "Whitney is the only director on her set. She hires the crew, she chose the actors and when the project wrapped, she sent it all the way to us in Wisconsin to edit.  Our members see Whitney as a creative force, not just a beautiful woman and talented actor, but an entrepreneur in her own right. We proud to call her a part of our team."
