ASACP Ready for TES Affiliate Conferences, Set to Participate in Seminar Series

LOS ANGELES — ASACP will return to Prague for the TES Affiliate Conferences, scheduled for September 13-16, at the Vienna House Diplomat Hotel.

Founded in 2009, The European Summit (TES), now rebranded as TES Affiliate Conferences, brings together professionals from the online entertainment industry, e-commerce, financials, gaming, gambling, dating, health, nutraceuticals and more for an intensive three-day networking event.

“Being the father of a young boy myself, I fully understand the benefits that ASACP’s Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label provides to parents with young children,” said TES’ Andreas Bischoff. “Therefore, we are a strong supporter of ASACP and its goals, and would like to see our clients join forces with ASACP as well.”

For 2019, TES continues its longtime support of the association by providing ASACP with sponsor status, including a complimentary hotel room and show badge; premium banner placement; an ad in the event’s show guide; a banner on the TES homepage; and other exposure on the event’s website and mobile app.

ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning returns to this year’s event, thanks to the support of the association’s Official Travel Sponsor, DialXS, to educate site owners and other stakeholders about how they can protect their companies while protecting children on the internet.

As part of this outreach, Henning will take part in one of the event’s most timely legal sessions, “Adopting AV on a Corporate Level.”

Set for Sunday, September 15, at 3 p.m., the workshop, moderated by John Cardwell from 1account.net, features Henning along with AdultWork.com Corporate Director Vince Charlton; AVSecure CMO Stephen Winyard; Yoti CEO Robin Tombs; and Age Verification Providers Association Co-chairman Alastair Graham, as they discuss the newest updates regarding the U.K.’s Digital Economy Act and its age verification mandate.

“Mandatory age verification remains one of the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the adult industry and many stakeholders have questions about its implementation and timing,” Henning said. “This panel will explore the newest changes in the law, how sites can comply and what it means for the future of online age and identity verification.”

“The revamped TES Affiliate Conferences reflect the changes in the industry and the challenges that ASACP faces in fending off child exploitation across many new mediums,” Henning concluded. “TES’s ongoing support enables the association to reach decision-makers from a growing, global range of online industries, many of which have age restriction requirements.”
