CYBERSPACE — Lacy Lennon has revealed she sings the theme song for “Captain Marvel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody,” set for release from Wicked Pictures at the end of the month.
Promo art featuring her in character as “X-Men” fan-favorite Jean Grey was unveiled on social media this week.
Lacy’s musical training came as a surprise to Braun. “During a break on set I heard some incredible soprano singing coming from the makeup room,” he said. “As a big opera fan, I immediately went to see what was playing, and to my surprise it wasn’t a record, it was Lacy just casually belting out a tune from ‘La Traviata.’ I was totally blown away by her talent, so I asked her if she’d be willing to record this pretty difficult title song that I had written. A couple weeks later, we went to the studio, and she was just pure magic!”
Lennon studied opera in college and grew up singing “in choirs, solo competitions, musicals and church,” she said. “It’s definitely still a passion. As for now, I’m just living in the moment and when my voice flies free, it’s sometimes heard by those around me. I was heard by Axel on set and I saw a sparkle in his eye!”
She enthused about recording the track in a professionally equipped studio and felt inspired to start writing. “I’m very grateful that this industry has given me opportunities to not only perform as a total nympho, but to be an actress and even a musician,” she said.
Lennon is staying mum about her costars for a B/G/G scene in “Captain Marvel XXX” that she describes as “wild.” The cast includes Kenzie Taylor in the title role with Ana Foxxx and Aubrey Kate and male talent Seth Gamble, Quinton James, Alex Legend, Tyler Knight and Ramon Nomar.
“It’s a secret right now who I performed with, but I promise no one will be disappointed,” she said. “This, honestly, might be one of my best scenes. Simply iconic! I just get into my scenes so much and being that I’m obsessed with cosplay, comics and superhero movies it was a fantasy that came alive for myself. Dreams really do come true!”
Braun praised Lennon as “a gifted actress and a fantastic performer,” noting her enthusiasm for the source material informed her work on Braun’s set. “She has a very deep knowledge of the character, which definitely shows on the screen. She was a delight to work with, and her threeway scene is absolutely phenomenal.”
