VR Bangers Debuts VR/AR Porn Gaming Division

LOS ANGELES — VR Bangers is embracing one of adult entertainment’s most progressive market segments with the launch of its VRB Games division for promoting augmented and virtual reality porn games.

The new division is the latest expansion for the company, which has boosted its growth with outreach to gay and trans audiences, affiliates and more.

To celebrate the launch, VRB Games is releasing its first free-to-play VR porn game, “Date Night,” designed to provide a user experience similar to the popular “Candy Crush Saga” but with a sexy twist. As with its mainstream counterpart, “Date Night” challenges players to match three identical objects to gain points and proceed to the next level, but adds adult models Bridgette B and Gianna Dior to entice players.

“People are being fed up with similar VR porn movies being released all over the entire industry, and sometimes it feels like you have already seen everything no matter which producer you are going to pick,” said VR Bangers’ Marketing Director Igor Zhivago. “We wanted to introduce an alternative way of having fun with VR porn, and since we have chosen to create a VR porn game to achieve that goal, we just picked a title that everyone likes and tried to create [the] equivalent of it — with the only difference that in ‘Date Night’ we choose to reward our players way more than any ‘Candy Crush’ would.”

According to the company, it wanted to release the game on the SteamVR platform, but it was declined by Steam’s product release team. The producers did not let that obstacle deter them and decided to release the game on their own.

“We really did not see that coming,” said VR Bangers’ CEO Daniel Abramovich. “After the initial release of the game, the entire company — not only the VRB Games division — was shocked with the amount of downloads we managed to accumulate. It was supposed to be a game that we made for our regulars to enjoy, and yet it turned out to be so successful that it literally ‘blew up!’”

“We produce a lot of interactive and creative VR porn movies,” said VR Bangers’ producer Roman Lit. “But when everyone expects something fresh and new every few weeks, even our unique VR porn scenes seemed not to be good enough and we have just felt that we need to come up with something new. That is how ‘Date Night’ was born — and I am incredibly happy that it turned out to be such a success. It is actually kinda funny, but so many people downloaded the game that our website crashed for almost the entire day when we first released it!”

The game can be played with major VR headsets and on PCs with Windows and Mac operating systems with or without a VR visor. While the game is free, players can purchase in-game upgrades such as more moves, more lives and more boosters. Although it cannot be considered “pay to win,” the producers worked to achieve a balance with the purchases.

“We perfected the art of balance in the in-app purchases because we want our users to keep on playing ‘Date Night,’” said VR Bangers’ CTO Boris Smirnoff. “With so many downloads in the U.S. and Japan, we can clearly call this release a huge success and we decided to focus a lot more on new games, levels and interactive experiences such as ‘Date Night’ in the future of our entire company. You will definitely hear about VRB Games sometime soon again!”

Even though "Date Night" is free-to-play, VR Bangers members will receive 500 free coins to skyrocket the first few levels of the game and to make them feel less demanding, along with the ability to store the game’s progress on the VR Bangers’ cloud in order to keep playing "Date Night" on different devices without losing levels.

“Date Night” is available here.
