LOS ANGELES — Dana Vespoli is exploring “Consent” for Evil Angel. The “provocative documentary/hardcore hybrid” streets today.
Evil Angel’s John Stagliano serves as executive producer and cameraman on the title which examines “serious, timely questions of sexual freedom and responsibility,” said a studio representative. “Each scene features a revealing look at its stars’ erotic desires and insights, followed by an XXX segment that satisfies those desires.”
Vespoli pairs Ivy Lebelle with Manuel Ferrara; Emily Willis opposite Bill Bailey; Whitney Wright in a three-man gang-bang; and London River in a double-anal scene with Markus Dupree and a strap-on-clad Vespoli.
All the participants are “sophisticated, articulate sexual explorers,” said Vespoli.
“Rough sex is a divisive subject,” she notes. “As someone who has shot and performed in plenty of rough sex scenes, I’ve been met with a fair amount of criticism, not just from conservative folks, but from feminists who tell me I can’t be a feminist if I do these types of scenes, or that I can’t possibly be in my right mind, and am therefore incapable of consent. There are plenty of female performers who endure the same scrutiny, and this movie was a great opportunity to explore the subject.”
Lebelle compared rough sex to a “dance,” while Stagliano praised Ferrara’s “controlled abandon” as he and Lebelle engage in slapping, spitting, biting, gaping, choking and deep anal fucking.
Willis proclaims “bold statements about her right to perversion” and “exudes pure, athletic sexual joy,” observed Stagliano, while Wright is “clearly the instigator of her destiny, going from pharmacy technician to stripper to porn star.”
River’s threesome highlights the power of experienced professionals who choose to enact a rough sex fantasy. “London demonstrates how the submissive is really served by a good dominant,” notes Stagliano, “and then Dana becomes the submissive, subject to London’s dominant intuition. Dana personally and powerfully demonstrates what she has been talking about throughout the movie.”
