ECN Plans a 'Hairy' Month to Support Movember Campaign

HIGHSTOWN, N.J. — East Coast News (ECN) is looking forward to a 'hairy' month of November.

The company, in partnership with System Jo, Aneros and Bathmate, is offering incentives to any ECN employee that goes the month of November without shaving their 'stache, as part of their annual Movember initiative.

"Our staff will start fresh and without facial hair on November 1," said a rep. "We are happy to support such a wonderful charity in the Movember Foundation, as many of us have been affected one way or the other by the causes they champion."

"Since 2003, Movember has funded over 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men," notes the Movember website.

Throughout the month, you can follow the ECN employees' progress on the company's Twitter feed.

"We will be posting updates and photos of everyone who is participating, tracking their progress, and seeing who has the best facial hair in the company," said the rep.
