CYBERSPACE — Adult performer and former world champion gymnast Verona van de Leur is retiring from adult entertainment with the publication of her upcoming autobiography.
The book, "Simply Verona: Breaking All The Rules," is slated to be released under Histria Books' Gaudium imprint on March 1, 2020.
"I am grateful to all of my fans from around the world who have supported me in my career in the erotic industry," said van de Leur. "It has been a remarkable experience, and it has taught me so much about myself and the world. With the forthcoming publication of my book, and in light of all that has happened in recent years in the gymnastics world, it is time to begin a new chapter in my life and to share my experiences to help others."
Van de Leur won the floor exercise silver medal at the 2002 World Gymnastics Championships and was voted the Netherlands' Sportswoman of the Year, before her life took a hard turn and she spent found herself living on the streets. She eventually recovered to build a career in adult entertainment.
