LONDON — The British adult industry cycling club Porn Pedallers has announced a charity ride in honor of World AIDS Day, "Ride the Ribbon," on November 30.
The ride will begin at Victoria Park at 9 a.m. and will follow a 25-mile loop around London, touring key LGBTQ landmarks around the capital.
Participants are encouraged to wear "red glam" — "the camper the better!" a rep emphasized — and can additionally participate in the city's official annual 10K "Red Run," which also kicks off from Victoria Park at noon.
The ride will reportedly follow open roads and traffic-calmed quiet ways and cycle superhighways, where possible.
Beneficiaries of the event include Terrence Higgins Trust and Positive East, both of which are dedicated to promoting HIV education and combatting stigma. All Porn Pedallers rides are supported by the club’s sponsors: AdultWork.com, Age Checked, AVYourself, BabeStationCams, Doxy, Future Parties, PascalsSubSluts.com, Platinum Lace Gentlemen’s Clubs, Television X, VeriMe and Zaucey.com.
"Ride the Ribbon" is a free event with pre-registration and suitable for beginner cyclists. To pre-register, email chris@ppcyclingclub.com.
