Class Is in Session for 'Sex School' on PinkLabel.tv

SAN FRANCISCO — PinkLabel.tv has thrown open the doors on its latest channel, Sex School Hub, which recently drew mainstream buzz with a Tedx Stuttgart talk delivered by performer and host Lina Bembe.

PinkLabel is a current XBIZ Awards nominee for Female-Produced Site of the Year.

The Berlin-based Sex School “creates films with high production values that are aesthetically appealing, sexually explicit, realistic and educational. It is a unique and necessary approach to sex education,” said a PinkLabel rep.

Bishop Black, Sadie Lune and Parker Marx join Bembe as performer-hosts. The production team includes CEO and Producer Anarella Martinez, sex coach Marta Rey, director Poppy Sanchez and assistant director Max Kutschenreuter.

Pink & White Productions’ Shine Louise Houston curates PinkLabel and described Sex School’s content as “an ideal match” for the platform’s “edu-porn” focus, which includes providing a nurturing space for “emerging creators of original adult content.”

A Sex School rep described the label’s five pillars as “Communication, Consent, Sexual Health, Identity and ‘Sexy.’”

“We believe there’s a world of difference in showing communication, consent, sexual health and identity mixed together in the heat of the moment when pressure, insecurities or difficult emotions are more difficult to navigate,” the rep explained. “A sexually explicit, realistic depiction brings the message across in more understandable and relatable ways, putting the emphasis on how to sort out the tricky bits at the most vulnerable point of a sexual encounter.”

Two titles from the Sex School “Experiences” line are currently streaming: “Kissing” and “Hook-Ups.”

Bembe’s Tedx Stuttgart talk — titled “Why is Talking About Sex so Hard?” — has currently drawn over 143,000 views on YouTube.
