LOS ANGELES — Mistress Cyan has announced the date of her annual holiday auction, toy and food drive, set for this Friday at 8 p.m. at Sanctuary Studios LAX.
Presented as a "kinky take" on a classic bachelor auction, the annual "slave auction" invites volunteers to put themselves up for the night. Potential bidders can bring in new toys for children, canned food, or dry goods, which is then exchanged into auction money.
Winning bidders may then enjoy the company of their "prize" for the evening, keeping in mind that play must still be negotiated and consensual, reps note.
Having been a tradition for over 20 years, the fundraiser welcomes the local community to the LAX-adjacent dungeon space for an evening of charity and festivities. Mistress Cyan formally noted, “We invite those in the adult industry to join us this year and contribute to those in need in Los Angeles. It’s all for a good cause and good kinky fun!”
Admission for the party is $20; dress code for the night is fetishwear, leather or classy casual.
Canned food and dry goods are encouraged, although blankets, gift cards and cash donations are also accepted. Food, blankets and monetary donations will be given to the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) in North Hollywood, which will then distribute the goods to shelters and unhoused persons. Donations can also be made directly to MCC.
Toys will be donated to the Toys for Tots program.
For those unable to attend the party, Queen Ana Algos of Sanctuary has set a personal goal to gather 333 stuffed animals for the toy drive. Stuffies with a note for Algos can be dropped off directly to Sanctuary Studios LAX.
