LOS ANGELES — We-Vibe announced today that its We-Connect app has been restored to the Google Play Store and is once again available for download on all Android devices.
Following Wednesday's news of the app's removal, company representatives released a statement citing a promotional image as the potential culprit; they expected the app would be restored within 48 hours.
Although the We-Connect app is back up-and-running on the Google Play Store as of earlier today, company reps commented on the debacle, highlighting the continued plight of sexual wellness brands on various online platforms.
"We are grateful to our partners for their support in situations such as this," the statement reads. "As you know, many companies and individuals in our industry continue to be banned or silenced on social and digital platforms. It’s essential that we continue to support each other."
The company concluded their statement with the social media hashtag #UnmutePleasure.
