LOS ANGELES — On December 29, Mistress Adrienne, a New York City-based Domme who served as an inspiration to the fetish community with her artistry and distinctive leather style, lost her three-year battle with ovarian cancer. Today, pro Domme site Hogspy.com paid tribute to the late Mistress, highlighting her talent and lasting impact on the fetish community.
"Originally from Ohio," reads the post, Adrienne moved to New York following her graduation from Ohio State University in 2003 and appeared on Hogspy several times over the years. "She was one of the very first Professional Dominatrices we ever featured," the writer notes. "As time went by, we would touch base often about an approaching tour of hers as she prepared to fly across the world dominating slaves in her unique and stylish way.
"Mistress Adrienne was a pleasure to have dealings with — always courteous and professional in her approach," they said. "She was loved and respected by everyone she came in to contact with, and many more whom she never even met."
In the days since her passing, many from the Femdom community have expressed their sympathies, simultaneously exalting Adrienne for her impeccable taste, grace and infectious spirit.
"[There are] no words to express the beauty and charisma of Mistress Adrienne," wrote Lady Sophia Larou.

She was uniquely talented, an artist in the craft of Femdom, and a true old soul.
She was a Goddess among mortals, and she had a kindness and honesty that is rare to come across.

"The Femdom community mourns the loss of Mistress Adrienne today," said fellow NYC Domme, Mistress Blunt.

More than anything else, the word that came up most amongst friends and acquaintances regarding Mistress Adrienne was "inspiration."
"She was one of those human beings who makes life worth living," wrote one admirer, "a true icon."
"She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her."
Adrienne reportedly passed last Sunday, just a few weeks shy of her 41st birthday, with her family by her side. They have announced a memorial service for the spring at her final resting place at the Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her family further thanked Concordia Hospice of Washington, Penn. for the care that she received towards the end of her life.
Her passing marks a great loss to both the international Femdom and fetish communities.
