CAM4 Fundraiser to Help Fight the Australian Bushfires

LOS ANGELES — CAM4 has announced it is starting a fundraiser to fight the Australian bushfires, matching all donations received up to a total of $7,500.

According to a rep, "As everyone is well aware by now, Australia is dealing with devastating and heartbreaking bushfires — claiming a huge amount of animal lives, houses and nature. CAM4 supports the fight against these fires and we urge you to join us."

The camming network has opened a special CAM4 Profile Page "Save_Australia," which now accepts gifts and tokens, all of which will be donated in full to Wires.org.au

They have also created a special limited CAM4 Koala gift worth 20 tokens, which when given to the “Save_Australia” profile, will result in the full value of the gift being donated. And if users give the Koala gift to a CAM4 performer, 10 percent of the value is donated.

"We thank you very much for your help!" added the rep on the company blog. "Our thoughts [and] prayers are with the people and wildlife of Australia."
