WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adult brick-and-mortar boutique Chi Chi LaRue’s has partnered with Huntees on pop-up shops offering the brand’s colorfully illustrated T-shirts and merch that feature comic pop culture riffs.
“The back room at Chi Chi LaRue’s has been magically turned into Huntees!” exclaimed directrix Chi Chi LaRue, for whom the chain was named.
The pop-up shops can be found at both of the boutique’s West Hollywood locations, including the recently opened Chi Chi LaRue’s Circus.
Besides a full selection of wares, an order-on-demand option will place Huntees artwork on any color and size T-shirt as well as mugs, coasters and totes.
Huntees was founded six years ago by CEO Viktor Pelayo to "celebrate pop culture and LGBT inclusiveness," a rep explained, with a focus on "adding retail collaborators and new talent to the creative roster."
