LOS ANGELES — Bella Vendetta is touting a busy slate of projects for 2020, including a return to producing content after a two-year hiatus.
Vendetta has walked away from her position as the manager of Club Castaway in Whately, Massachusetts following a dispute with the club owners.
Besides content creation, Vendetta is redoubling her advocacy for sex workers’ rights. She has taken a position on several local task forces aimed at ending domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking.
“It’s been amazing to be allowed in these spaces where people with power are discussing how to handle situations,” she explained. “I am so thankful that they are including the voices of sex workers and including actual trafficking survivors to address their needs. It gives me a lot of hope for our little bubble of Western Massachusetts.”
Vendetta’s recently formed group, TeamClearHeels413, is a collective of current and former exotic dancers who recently spoke with the local district attorney, during a public forum, on the topic of prosecuting sex workers.
Among her upcoming projects is “Goddess: The American Stripper,” for which she serves as a production consultant.
“This project I am super-excited about because it’s about a group of strippers who get to open the queer-inclusive club of their dreams which is not unlike exactly what I tried to do!” she exclaimed. “It called to me. I am excited to work with such a diverse group of talented badasses.”
