LOS ANGELES — Maitland Ward, the reigning Best Actress whose performance in Deeper.com’s “Drive” also earned her Best Sex Scene, has signed an exclusive two-year deal with Vixen Media Group.
This deal extends into 2022 the initial contract she signed last fall with Deeper, which XBIZ named Best New Studio due to its award-winning productions helmed by Director of the Year Kayden Kross.
“I’m so happy that for the next two years, I am going to call Deeper and Vixen Media Group my home," Ward said. "Up until now, it’s been an amazing journey." Given her industry-transcending stardom and the headline-seizing power of her brand, Ward was also named XBIZ Crossover Star of the Year.
“Kayden and I plan on pushing not only the boundaries of adult filmmaking, but will also continue to break down walls with mainstream ventures," she continued. "One year was not enough to do all we have planned, and I’m humbled and excited that this team stands behind me. Along with Kayden, I happily accept the challenge to produce the best product possible in the adult industry."
The flame-haired seductress, who shot to mainstream fame on TV’s long-running comedy series "Boy Meets World," will topline several new releases a year, treating fans to a wide variety of performances that include anal, IR and group scenes for Vixen Media Group’s premier network of sites, including collaborations with the industry’s top talent.
“There is not a more talented, humble or stunning person in this industry, and I consider it a huge compliment that Maitland has committed to us for another year,” said Kross. “Working with her is endlessly enjoyable, and I love the way she walks in and just blows the ceiling off the rooms that adult content has been boxed in.”
Up next for Ward and Deeper is "Secretary," which a rep described as "a timely drama about a steely executive who lays out her demands — professional and personal — on her new assistant Riley Reid, before engaging in a vigorous three-way interview with the company’s Big Boss, Markus Dupree."
Kross added, “If Maitland has taught me anything, it's that you should work with people who make your goals bigger… I adore her for that, and can't wait to see what we will make together.”
