MIAMI — Joslyn Jane is among the adult entertainers featured in a "New York Post" story, published Saturday, examining the effects of the coronavirus outbreak on their livelihoods.
Journalist Sara Dorn notes the unique ability of a performer like Jane, identified as an adult film star, indie content creator and cam performer, to provide solace and stress relief.
"Business is booming for sexy solo performers as millions of holed-up horndogs look to relieve their outbreak anxiety," Dorn writes.
Jane reports a 62 percent weekly increase in tips and sales at her OnlyFans profile and ManyVids store.
"I'm always very open to talk to the press about issues that affect sex workers’ lives and livelihoods, and to have the opportunity to present us as the entrepreneurs and small business owners that we are," Jane explained. "I'm grateful to the 'New York Post' for taking the time to depict the coronavirus situation through a less pessimistic prism than a lot of the media coverage."
The "Post" story also queries performer Kate Kennedy and model and feature dancer Tyler Faith.
