LOS ANGELES — DomCon Los Angeles organizers have announced they will reschedule the event, originally set for May 6-11, to a later date in August in light of recent developments regarding the coronavirus.
DomCon Founder and President Mistress Cyan, in a statement, related that organizers have been "taking the concerns over the COVID-19 virus very seriously" and have been "continually monitoring the situation on a day-to-day basis."
Following careful consideration, Cyan announced that DomCon Los Angeles will be rescheduled for August 19-23.
"We are so excited to have been able to make this change and potentially limit the impact to all of you in the community," she concluded.
Vendors and attendees who have already registered will have their registrations transferred to the new dates. Vendors and exhibitors who are on the waiting list for booth space will be notified should any vendors not be able to make the new August dates.
The convention's exhibiting hotel, Hilton LAX, has offered to refund all room reservations made through the hotel for DomCon in May without penalty. To re-book a room for the August 19-23 dates, click here.
DomCon is also offering free three-month memberships to its online portal for all attendees.
"We appreciate all the support we have had from our attendees, presenters and vendors over the past 17 years," said Cyan. "We can't wait to see you in August for what is sure to be one great DomCon!"
