NEW YORK — Pornhub has donated an initial $10,000 to the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) Emergency Fund, and will match an additional $20,000 in donations, to assist adult industry workers with bills and living expenses during the COVID-19 production hold.
“Pornhub is committed to supporting the talent and crew who work in the adult entertainment industry and whose lives have been directly impacted by COVID-19,” said Corey Price, Pornhub VP. “The FSC has always done a tremendous job of protecting the rights and freedoms of members of the adult entertainment industry and we’re proud to work alongside them to deliver some much-needed relief to valued members of our community.”
The FSC will begin dispersing emergency funds today; earlier this week, the trade organization announced over 300 talent and crew had applied for help. Once verified, applicants will receive $300 to apply to expenses.
"We're grateful to Pornhub for this contribution to help support adult industry talent and crew during this crisis. Their donation will help workers pay bills, buy groceries and afford medication during these incredibly stressful times,” said FSC Executive Director Michelle L. LeBlanc. “We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity from those in our community, and I know we'll see more in the coming weeks.”
