NEW YORK — CockyBoys is trumpeting the launch of its "Makes You Feel Good" promotional campaign, which includes content initiatives intended to support performers unable to work during the production hold and "stay-at-home" lockdown orders.
CockyBoys is the reigning XBIZ winner for Gay Movie of the Year; studio principal Jake Jaxson took home the XBIZ trophy for Gay Director of the Year.
Jaxson and CockyBoys co-owner RJ Sebastian describe their content as "feel-good porn," an aesthetic that inspired the new campaign.
"While all studios are unable to schedule new shoots, CockyBoys is committed to still being creative and supporting their many exclusive performers who count on and need the base pay of monthly scene work," a rep explained. "CockyBoys has a new series of erotic docs currently in production and are working on new ways to support their performers' fan content platforms, so they, too, can continue to update at a time when they are also unable to create new content via collaborations with other models."
The studio will re-release top titles from their catalog and include member-exclusive content from BelAmi, the 2020 XBIZ winner for Gay Site of the Year, in their website uploads.
"Currently, CockyBoys members are getting one new five-star BelAmi scene every week as a bonus update with their membership for the next couple of months," said the rep.
Weekly member-exclusive cam shows, headlined by top studio stars, are also on tap. Friday and Saturday's lineup will include Tayte Hanson, Cory Kane, Levi Karter and Nico Leon.
"RJ and I have been working with our team to come up with new creative ways to work together with our performers, friends and partners to do all we can to support our performers during this time," said Jaxson, "and continue to create and release content that provides a needed and welcome escape — if only for a moment — from the 'new normal' during our time of self-isolation."
Jaxson notes he has "struggled to stay positive, focused and creative."
"The news, worries and anxiety fill my mind, and I struggle with how to continue to work considering the reality of the moment," he explained. "Nevertheless, we have a need and responsibility to find as many ways as we can to help provide an escape for our members, and help our performers in as many ways as we can. As you may or may not know, sex workers and adult business have been exclusively singled out and excluded from filing for relief via the Small Business Relief programs. So we are launching a multi-step approach to keep everyone thriving and we encourage as many of our members, friends and affiliates who can to support our efforts."
Jaxson expressed gratitude for the ongoing community support.
