Marc MacNamara Touts Post-Prison Interview With Jarec Wentworth on OnlyFans

LOS ANGELES — Director Marc MacNamara is promoting an interview with performer Jarec Wentworth following his release from prison. The 20-minute chat, conducted remotely, was posted to the OnlyFans account for MacNamara's Nasty Boy Productions, and also details Wentworth's intention to return to adult.

Wentworth was sentenced in 2015 to over five years and 10 months in prison after he was convicted on six counts of extorting Donald Burns, a multimillionaire Magic Jack VocalTec exec who conducted sexual affairs with gay porn stars. All told, Wentworth attempted to extort $1.5 million from Burns.

"I met Jarec [while] filming in the spring of 2014. I got to know him pretty well for over a year," MacNamara said. "Then, all of a sudden, he was arrested and gone for five years. I didn’t know the story; it seemed shocking and [different] from the person I thought he was."

"I read all of the police files, the court documents — everything was public. But it had been filtered through a slanted lens," MacNamara continued. "I wanted to give him an opportunity to speak and tell his version. Also, being locked [away] for five years will change someone. I wanted to see who he had become, and he surprised me with every answer."

The director asked "very personal questions" in a "very transparent and open-hearted dialogue," which included questions submitted by fans on MacNamara's social media channels.

"I just wanted to ask what everybody was wondering even if it doesn’t sound politically correct: life in prison, the conditions and struggles for the inmates, Jarec’s personal and professional future goals, the arrest and details about the context and relationship between all the parties involved," said MacNamara.
