Clip Artist Mayven Doll Sentenced in Arkansas for Public Display Videos

TRUMANN, Ark. — Clip artist Mayven Doll and her husband pled guilty to some charges stemming from a 2017 “public hardcore sexual conduct” arrest in Arkansas.

As part of their plea deal, the couple will not serve time or have to register as sex offenders, but will be put on probation and have been ordered to pay legal costs, according to local news sources.

In July 2017, Mayven Doll and her husband (and business partner) were arrested and charged with several felonies, including “public display of hardcore sexual conduct and promoting an obscene performance” for videos they had shot in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the main city near their hometown, and then uploaded to the internet.

Based on her posted videos, the model was initially charged with eight counts of public display of hardcore sexual activity, three counts of “obscene film,” and four counts of “promoting obscene performance.” Her husband, and alleged videographer, faced fewer charges.

On August 28, the charges were revised to three counts of each for each of them. The couple faced a maximum of six years in prison on each count and were released on $5,000 bail each at the time.

As part of yesterday’s plea agreement, six of the charges were dropped.

Mayven Doll is a popular clip artist known for her relaxed, “girlfriend experience” (GFE) POV videos, some of which are taped in public places, and which showcase her characteristic Southern accent. Her videos are posted in clips platforms and leading tube sites.

Back in 2016, Jonesboro police had received a tip about “public hardcore sexual conduct,” and spent valuable time and resources researching online videos on Twitter and other platforms to identify the couple in order to “determine that explicit acts were being performed in public.”

According to legal records gossip site The Smoking Gun, “investigators allege that [Mayven Doll] masturbated while seated at a table in a Cheddar’s restaurant and used a sex toy on herself in a Home Depot parking lot. She also allegedly exposed herself in the Home Depot’s appliance section and engaged in a sex act inside a dressing room at a Kohl’s department store.”

The husband was charged with recording the videos and also with “participating in one sex act at a Jonesboro nature preserve.”

The police also alleged that the husband operated “a pair of wireless vibrating panties” worn by Mayven Doll at the Cheddar’s restaurant.

In September 2017, the couple’s Jonesboro lawyer Randel Miller told reporters that the obscenity charges were "unconstitutional".

The state's "overbroad" statutes, Miller claimed, “would prohibit the videoing of two consenting adults in the privacy of own their bedroom."

The third statute, however, “dealing with videoing in a public place, is a different matter," Miller said.

"First, I think there's going to be a real question of whether there [are] any witnesses... Second, the charge is grossly disproportionate to the conduct. Clearly, this conduct would have constituted the misdemeanor offense of indecent exposure rather than the more serious felony offense."

Several Mayven Doll videos, including portions that appear to be shot in public places, are still up on tube sites as of this writing.
