BALI, Indonesia — International lifestyle Domme Mistress Eva has joined the U.K. Leather and Fetish Archive at the Bishopsgate Institute in London, and she also took part in a Vice News podcast about BDSM.
Mistress Eva said it was “an incredible honor to join the ranks of the Bishopsgate Institute’s archive collection.” The educational and cultural center, she explained, “calls itself 'the home for ideas and debate, learning and enquiry' and that’s the perfect way to describe this incredible space that has served the public for over 125 years."
“I’m so proud to be a part of this legendary organization,” Mistress Eva added.
The dominatrix has also just released a short commentary about BDSM on Vice News’ podcast “The Distance: Coronavirus Dispatches,” where she discusses her unexpected transition from world traveler to homebound kink practitioner — with a little help from online technology.
“One after another, all of my slaves started realizing that the borders were closing and our monthly international meetups were going to disappear for the time being, and desperation started creeping in for them,” Mistress Eva explained on the podcast.
“In addition to upping the capacity on my BDSM training site, I started to set up regular calls between my real-time slaves and I, to create some sense of routine and connection. We end up taking video calls and dressing up in matching latex.”
For fun, Eva is attending "virtual leather socials."
"Leather folks come onscreen and polish their boots, amongst other things," she said. "I’ve also attended some Zoom orgies — screen-by-screen, you’d see somebody in a leather mask, sipping something, I don’t know — three people in a playspace, one tied to a pole — it was a lot of fun! It was really nice to be able to connect with the community in this way, and I hope some semblance of that continues once this time moves on.”
The Vice News podcast featuring Mistress Eve is available now on streaming platforms.
