LOS ANGELES — Performer and activist Buck Angel appears in the video for "Give You Everything," the closing track from the soundtrack to the hit Netflix documentary "Circus of Books." He is featured alongside performance artist Peaches and dancer Kevin Zambrano in the clip.
"Circus of Books" helmer Rachel Mason wrote and performs the song and directed the video, which was filmed inside the legendary West Hollywood brick-and-mortar emporium just before and right after it closed its doors for good.
"Circus of Books was an infamous landmark of LGBTQ culture in Los Angeles, and this music video pays homage to the legacy of the store," a rep explained. "Shot at the iconic location when the store was both full and empty, the video features two icons of sexual freedom, Buck Angel and Peaches. Rachel directed the video enacting her imaginary vision of the store's ghost, in white face makeup and hair, wearing original Tom of Finland leathers. Kevin Zambrano, the young dancer, plays the youth of today, dreaming and wondering about the elders of his own history, and imagining the dangerous, underground, and fabulousness of the past as he dances through the empty store."
