Hawaii's Sensually Yours Re-Opens

HONOLULU — Hawaii pleasure products emporium Sensually Yours has announced its re-opening, following stay-at-home orders due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sensually Yours will be operating initially from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the weekends, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the week starting May 15.

“These are slightly shortened hours, but we want to be cautious,” said a rep. “Depending on how it goes we will extend our hours back to normal. We are encouraging our customers to continue curbside pick-up or shipping when possible.”

Hawaii’s governor and the Honolulu mayor, according to the rep, have limited capacity to one person per 200 square feet, “which means that we can only have 10 people in the store at a time and we will be including employees in our calculation.”

Sensually Yours is also asking all customers to put on a mask when entering. The store can provide masks, along with a hand sanitation station in the front.

“Everyone should continue to follow social distancing guidelines,” the rep added. “Our staff will have face shields and we’ll be taking everyone’s temperature regularly. We want everyone to stay safe as we try to get back to operating again.”

Sensually Yours general manager Zondre Watson explained that “it’s very exciting to be able to open for our customers. This is a challenging time. Luckily, we were able to get the PPP loan and bring back some of our staff. We were able to give the store a little facelift during the shutdown, and we’ve placed orders to have fresh items in stock. It will be very exciting for customers who choose to visit again. We will also have grand re-opening sales, and hopefully business will come back quickly.”

“Let’s just make sure we continue being cautious so that we don’t have to endure another shutdown anytime soon,” Watson added.

Sensually Yours has one location in Honolulu and an online store. The store offers free shipping on orders over $59, and free curbside pick-up.
